About the Owner:
Let me tell you a little something about myself. I was born in Danbury Hospital and grew up in New Fairfield. I got married in 1976 and moved to New Milford. I started my retail career with McDonald's as a cashier. I moved up to management quickly and worked there for 16 years. They taught me about hard work, dedication, and running a business from customer service to marketing to bookkeeping and salesmanship. I loved it. I then worked at Stew Leonards for another 12 years, where I learned more about customer service and stocking shelves. That little skill comes in very handy at Nordica Toys.
I come from a family of eight children, so I know about toys, siblings, family life, and the like. At Christmas, I got my start on wrapping gifts for all those brothers and sisters.
